Selamat Hari Raya
Just a short post to wish everyone Selamat Hari Raya! I know its a little late considering it was celebrated 5 days ago. I don't celebrate Hari Raya but I do take part in the celebration.....=) It consist of LOADS of food and it celebrates the wonders of Malaysian cuisine.
This is perhaps one of the more iconic dishes and could be found at roadside during the Raya season. Its called Lemang! Made from a mixture of rice, santan and gula melaka it is something that I look forward to every year.
It is normally eaten with rendang which is some sort of curry. Mmmmmm......yum!

happy hari raya! i cant forget those experiences when i was staying in mindanao. they celebrate it that way too.
