Banana + Toffee = Banoffee

Had this and a bunch of other desserts yesterday. Good stuff! It was an enjoyable the time out of school at the annual KTJ Model United Nations dinner. The incoming board of directors did a really good job planning the night. We had a stop at Bangsar Village before the event and had some desserts.

This banoffee pie is a combination of cookie crumbs, chocolate, banana, caramel, and chocolate cream. So you have a lot of things going on at once in your mouth. There's that crunch from the cookie crumbs but there's also the softness of the banana. Then there's the sweetness of the caramel which compliments the slight bitterness of the coffee cream.
