The Groove of Langkawi
The next day we went on the manGROOVE tour (I know, lame right! LOL). It was interesting despite being commercialised. The thing that pissed me off was how they lied to us on accepting credit cards. I tell you they'll do anything to get your money. My family to use the cash we had for our entire vacation (and cross fingers that every other place we're going will accept credit cards).
This is the entrance to the jetty where the tour begins.
There were lots of boats there. This centre runs other tours too like island hopping, fishing and et cetera.
There was this pretty tree at the parking lot. It was so massive so it caught my attention. I was like "Hei, thats a nice tree! =_="
We were there early so I passed the time by taking pictures here and there. I was obsessed with this pile of grass for a good 20 minutes trying to get a good shot.
Private yacht. You see them around pretty often around the island.
Monkey! This fella was posing....it looks like the monkey is so used to being photographed. Apparently them monkeys go to the same spot everyday cause' they get fed by all the tourists everyday.
More monkeys....
Later, we stopped at a fish farm (more like an aquarium made to look like a fish farm as the fishes are there just for display and not for "farming" purposes).
This is the horse shoe crab. We were told their eggs are delicious (I tasted it before, taste like rubber....) and that the crabs are as old as dinosaurs.
AND that they look like the Predator alien, the one in the movie with Arnie.
As usual I really enjoyed the boat rides. Ah...the feeling of wind rushing through you hair, the smell of the sea and the nice blue sky just made my day.
